March 23, 2015

Dear Family,
Well I would have to say that yesterday was pretty good! Sacrament
meeting was about missionary work. So I got to give a talk (so did my
companion). I will send you my talk when I get a chance to. Then two
women that comes out with us every now and then bearded their
testimony about coming out with us and the blessings they have seen by
doing that. Then the branch mission leader talked a little bit about
how the branch can help us.
One of the eight year olds that is in the branch got baptized right
after church. So we went to the baptism and it was pretty good! The
mother of the little girl asked us to start putting the refreshments
out near the end of the baptism. So after she received the gift of the
Holy Ghost we stepped out and started to put refreshments for her. We
almost back up for talking about the Holy Ghost because the person
that was talking stepped out to get the stuff for her talk and the
mother didn't know if she left or not. But the person that talked was
there so we didn't have to worry about it.
We had a really good lesson with two of our investigators that are
brothers last night. We asked one of the members of it was ok if they
could come to their lesson with us and it turned out to be a dinner.
Our branch mission leader and his wife a recent convert, the two
investigators, and the original two members we asked could come. After
the dinner we talked a little bit and one of the members talked about
the really bad car accident she was in a couple of years ago (she
shouldn't even be walking it was so bad). It doesn't even look like
she got in an accident. The story is really cool and how she survived
it and is walking is even cooler. After that we gave our lesson about
the sabbath day and why it's so important!
We got one of the less actives that we have been teaching to do
indexing. She is really loving it and she is extremely excited about
it to! Then we had another lesson with a less active that we haven't
had any contact with. She was only in contact with a couple of members
that are in the branch. Then she came to church last week and we asked
her if we could come over and have a lesson with her. She said that
she was going to try and come to church which is really awesome.
We had ten lessons with recent converts less actives this week.
Which is really amazing and is really good. There is a member that is
in the branch that lives in a assistant living care. Well a member of
the bishopric that it would be a good idea if we could get her a
laptop and get it connected to the wifi at the assistant living center
and have her start doing indexing so that she has something to do. We
got it all figured out and we talked to her about it and she said that
she would love to start indexing. We started to go and visit this
member once a week and she really likes it when we stop by.
Well the investigator we had that was going to get baptized in
April is having a lot of family problems. He cancelled the lessons
that we had set up (in other words we got dropped.. Or however you
want to say it). He said that he will call us when he is ready to
start taking the lessons again. There wasn't really anything we could
do about the situation but just keep doing the Lords work!
Well I think that is all for this week. I hope that you guys have a
wonderful week and I love you all!

Love,
Sister Paige Bluemel
