Well this week has gone really well. We got a couple of new
investigators and two of them are former investigator. One of them we
started to teach last night and he is a Jew. Elders from two years
taught him and a couple of weeks ago when he was in church he got an
overwhelming feeling that he should be meeting with the Mormons again.
So he texted and is now investigating the church again.
One of the less active members that we are working with went into
the hospital last Monday. So after district meeting we got permission
to go visit her because the hospital is out of our area. Its the
Lehigh Valley Hospital and it is freakishly big and from what I heard
is one of the top hospitals in America. We had a hard time finding a
parking spot but we didn't have a hard time finding room. The day
before we called her and asked if we could stop by and if she wanted
anything from the outside world. She asked if we could her a coke or
sprite (we got her both). When we gave it to her she was really
excited about it.
I think this week is just a hospital week because another less
active that we have done service for is in the hospital to. She went
to the hospital within the last couple of days and we would go visit
her but we don't know what hospital she is in and we haven't gotten
the chance to go visit her to.
Yesterday was stake conference and it was held at a high school
called Mulenburg High School which is located in Temple, PA. The
branch I am serving in is in the same stake is Molly's grandparents. I
tried looking for them but I could find them anywhere. But the stake
is really big. President Stephenson (one of members of my missions
mission presidency spoke. He talked about how member missionary work
is suppose to be FUN! President Anderson was going to speak but he had
to go to another stake conference because that stake's stake
presidency was getting rearranged.
On Wednesday we usually got to a Book of Mormon class at the
church. But we usually have to find a women to come with us. We had
three women lined up to come and all three of them cancelled last
minute. So we pretty much helped two of the women that are in the
primary presidency reorganize the primary closet. It was a lot of fun
and they were really grateful that we were around to help out.
Well I think that is all that has happened this week. Have a
wonderful week and I love all of you. Have a good beginning of June!
Love,
Sister Paige Bluemel
