Dear Family,
We are getting a snow storm and my mission president grounded our cars today. Last night we got a call from my district leader telling us that our cars were grounded and that the only time we could use them was for getting our groceries. This morning we were doing personal study and our zone leaders texted saying that we needed to cut our studies done and go take care of everything that we needed to take care of before 12 because the storm was getting really bad. So we had to go take care of anything like our groceries. So now for the rest of the day we have to stay in our apartment. It's a good thing we have wifi at our apartment so that we could email here.
We had Ward Conference yesterday and it was really good. It was about missionary work and how the members can be helping the full time missionaries. One of the people that gave a talk was our landlord. She gave a very good talk and at the beginning of her talk she talked about us living in her cottage home.
On Thursday we had a lesson with a less active member (her husband dropped us a month or so ago because he wasn't "interested") and her husband had joined in on the lesson. So it went from focusing on the less active to the non member. Well now he is an investigator now again! I also got to extend the baptismal commitment with him. He never gave us an answer but we think that if he says yes that his baptism will be sometime in April.
We contacted someone that was on our investigator list. We decided that we need to stop by her house and met her. We got in with her and we talked a lot about having faith in Jesus Christ. We showed her the "He is the Gift" video. When we got done watching it we asked her if she felt anything different when she was watching it. She told us that she felt something special in her heart. So we are going to go back to house soon and see where her interest level is in learning about the church!
I got a 2 pound Reese's from my Zone Leaders on Thursday. When they gave it to me they told me not to eat it all in one sitting. Man they weren't kidding when they told me that. I will send you guys pictures of it soon. Well I think that is all.
This transfer is almost done. Which is really crazy. I found out this Friday if I am getting transferred or not. I will have to tell you guys next Monday more details when I find out. I love you guy and have a wonderful week! Love, Sister Paige Bluemel
