June 15, 2015

Dear Family,
Well I am in a trio again and I'm training to. We originally didn't
know that we were getting a third person. So Tuesday night the
assistants called us and asked if we were called as trainers. We told
them no and they told us that they were going to call us back. Well a
couple of minutes later President Anderson called us and told us that
we are going to be trainers and that we had to be at the mission
office at 7:45. When he told us this I literally screamed. We were
very excited and couldn't sleep that night and we got up at 4:30 to
clean our apartment.
On Wednesday we went down to Broomall and got our new missionary.
Her name is Sister Lythgoe and she is from Canbrillo, California. She
is the second oldest of four kids. She has two brothers and a sister.
Her sister has Down syndrome and her dad is the stake president in her
home stake. She is such a got missionary. Sometimes it feels like I
should be the one getting trained not the one training.
I got to teach someone the restoration all by myself which I am
pretty proud of. We were at our bible study yesterday and there is a
lady that comes every week. Well by the way she was acting it seemed
like she wanted to do bible study but not with the group of people
that had come. So I took her in another area. So we read some of the
story from the bible then she stopped and just started asking
questions about what we believe. So I pretty much taught her the
restoration.
We now have two people that have a baptismal date! The two brothers
that are investigations the church both have a date to be baptized. We
extended the Baptismal invitation to Jeff on Saturday for May 22, 2016
(he doesn't get off of parole till May 15 of next year). Sister
Lythgoe was the one that extended it to him! The assistants committed
us to have the Goldens extend the invitation to someone by Sunday.
It's awesome because a couple of weeks ago Sister Hoofman and I had
found this couple that has lived in our for said months and they have
been praying for us to find them for that long. The wife is a less
active and the husband isn't a member. He was about six days away from
baptism but they had some problems and moved to where they are living
now. So we had her extend the invitation and he said yes but he said
that he didn't want to set up a date yet. When we followed up with the
assistants they were really excited that sister Lythgoe had two
invitation in one day.
We didn't have as many lessons as we usually have. Wednesday
through Friday were pretty slow but we are confident that we will be
doing well this up coming week. Well I think that is all for this
week. Hope you have a wonderful week.

Love,
Sister Paige Bluemel
