Dear Family,
Man it sounds like everyone had a blast at Trevor and Jen's
wedding. I think that I might be jealous (even though I celebrated to
Saturday evening)! On Saturday eveningLori Hinsdale (the member that
comes out with us a lot) picked us up and we had Chinese food, and
celebrated Trevor and Jen's wedding. She teaches the activity day girl
group and she asked us if we can help her do prayer reminders. We also
made a baptismal countdown for one of the investigators that has a
baptism in December. So we did a lot of crafting! It was a lot of fun.
We got two new investigators this week (and it's a family). They
have two little kids under the age of five. We originally tracted into
them a couple of weeks ago and they told us that we could come back
sometime. So we went back Monday evening and asked if they wanted to
learn more and they told they had 15 minutes and then they had to get
ready for bed. So we pretty much taught them the restoration in 15
minutes and got a return appointment. Then we went back Thursday and
taught them the plan of salvation and they mentioned that it could be
true. So we invited them to come to church. They told us that the
church they go is the answer to there prayers and they think that it
is the right church to go to. We are going to be getting a lot of the
members involved (as you should be as a missionary) and we were going
to invite them to upcoming activities and also have members invite
them to activities to. So hopefully they will come to church one day.
We had a decent amount of lessons this week. Yesterday we pretty
much had four lessons in a row and they all went pretty well. We also
got stood up on Friday which is sad. We were doing some finding and we
stopped by a former investigators place and he opened the door and was
like come back on Friday around the same time (which was like 5 to
5:30ish). So we talked to Lori and asked her if she could come with us
(we have to have a women with if we are teaching a guy). Then when we
went there on Friday the guy wasn't there. So he pretty much stood us
up.
Well I think that is all that happened this week! I hope that all
of you have a wonderful week this week and that you got home safely. I
love you all!
Love,
Sister Paige Bluemel
