Dear Family,

We are having a mission conference next week on Monday the 23rd. So
for next week only pday will be on Tuesday the 24th. Two elders from
the seventy are coming to speak to us on Monday.

We went this sweetheart ball on Friday night that the branch was
putting on. We decided that we should probably make an appearance to
it. Well a recent convert and two investigators came to it and brought
a non member friend with them. We got to talk to the friend and he
said that he has met with the missionaries before and knows that the
church is true but the reason why he hasn't gotten baptized is because
his family thinks that the church is a cult and he doesn't want to
fight with his family about it. We had a lesson with him and the one
of the two investigators that is his friend. We talked about the first
four articles of faith. At the end we extended the baptismal
invitation and we talked more about it. We asked him to pray about
being baptized. So hopefully he will find his answer.

On Saturday we thought it would be fun to heart attack and leave a
goody bag to any recent converts, less actives, members, and I think
we did a investigator to. There was two members that came with us.
They both went on missions and they love to help the missionaries. So
sometimes they will come out and help us if we need it. Three people
that we heart attacked called us and told us how much they appreciated
it and thanked us for doing it. It was a fun service!

We found a new potential investigator this past week. There are
some people that have had lessons with the missionaries within the
last couple of weeks but the missionaries couldn't get another
appointment with them. So we decided to walk over and try and get that
set up. When we got there a lady a couple of doors down stepped out
and started to smoke. Well the people we were originally trying to
contact never answered the door. So my companion and I decided to go
and we also decided to talk to the women that was smoking. We started
talking to her and then we eventually gave her a Book of Mormon and
she said that she would read it. We asked if we could come back this
up coming week and she said that we could. So we might have another
investigator.

Well yesterday was a weird Sunday. It didn't even feel like a
Sunday. Church got cancelled because the wind was blowing really badly
and it was somewhat snowing. I guess the area that the church building
isn't very safe with that kind of stuff going on. So they cancelled
church and with that it didn't feel like a Sunday. We went to this
bible study that we usually teach and when we doing that we were just
getting some weird vibes. So yesterday was pretty interesting.
We had a dinner last night with a non member that lives the floor
above us in our apartment complex. We have done service for her
multiple times and she is really nice. The whole time that we were
having dinner with her and when she was talking all we could think of
was 'she just needs the gospel.' So before we left we gave her a Book
of Mormon!

Well I think that was all that happened this week. I hope that
